Job summary

Koch is seeking a Software Architect to provide technical leadership for our Short Code Registry platform. You will define architecture, guide engineering standards, and drive scalable software and analytics across cloud-native applications.

You will mentor engineers, deliver robust data models, and shape roadmaps with product and business partners to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing web apps with React and TypeScript.
• Backend services with Node.js and NestJS.
• PostgreSQL database design and performance tuning.
• AWS cloud services with multi-service experience.
• Proven technical lead for production software.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Design scalable full-stack solutions using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.
• Architect APIs, data models, and service patterns for secure, maintainable systems.
• Lead architecture reviews and engineering standards focusing on scalability and observability.
• Mentor engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
