Job summary

GCH Tech is seeking a Software Architect to provide technical leadership for our Short Code Registry platform. You will define architecture, guide engineering standards, and deliver scalable software and analytics across cloud-native applications.

Qualifications

• Experience designing web apps with React/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience developing APIs/backend services with Node.js/NestJS/Express.
• Experience designing PostgreSQL schemas, indexing, and query optimization.
• Proficiency with AWS services (three or more of EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, QuickSight).
• Led technical projects as solution architect or design authority for production software.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve application, data, and cloud architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Lead design and delivery of scalable full-stack solutions using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.
• Architect APIs, integrations, and service patterns for secure, maintainable systems.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Establish cloud architecture standards across AWS services (RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, QuickSight).
• Architect and deliver embedded analytics with AWS QuickSight, including dashboards and data modeling.
• Drive architecture reviews, technology decisions, and engineering standards for scalability and observability.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business goals into technical roadmaps.
• Champion Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and CI/CD using Terraform.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across the SDLC.
