Job summary

Koch is seeking a Software Architect to provide technical leadership for a cloud-native Short Code Registry platform. You will define architecture, set engineering standards, and deliver scalable software and analytics capabilities across a multi-tenant SaaS environment.

You will partner with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to modernize platform capabilities, enable data-driven insights, and ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing web apps with React/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience building APIs/backends with Node.js/NestJS/Express.
• Strong PostgreSQL design, indexing, and query tuning.
• Proficiency with AWS services (3+ listed).
• Proven lead architect for production software applications.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Lead design and delivery of scalable full-stack solutions (React, Next.js, TS, Node.js, NestJS).
• Architect APIs, integrations, and service patterns for secure, maintainable solutions.
• Design and optimize data models, indexing, and performance.
• Set cloud standards across AWS services (RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, QuickSight).
• Deliver embedded analytics with QuickSight and secure data modeling.
• Drive architecture reviews, technology decisions, and standards for scalability and observability.
• Mentor engineers and steer CI/CD and IaC practices with Terraform.
