GCH Tech in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Software Architect to provide technical leadership for its Short Code Registry platform. You will define architecture, set engineering standards, and deliver scalable cloud-native applications and analytics.

The role partners with product and business teams to translate objectives into roadmaps, drives IaC with Terraform and CI/CD, and mentors engineers across the full software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience designing web apps with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience building APIs and backend services with Node.js/NestJS/Express.
• Leadership experience as architect or technical lead on production SaaS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL schema design and performance tuning.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (3+ services).

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Lead design and delivery of scalable full-stack solutions using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.
• Architect APIs, integrations, and service patterns for secure, maintainable solutions.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models and indexing.
• Establish cloud architecture standards across AWS services.
• Architect and deliver embedded analytics using AWS QuickSight.
• Drive architecture decisions, scalability, resiliency, security, and observability.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical roadmaps.
• Champion Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and CI/CD.
• Mentor engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
