Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Snowflake Engineer, Consultant, to design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and cloud technologies. You will build data pipelines, work within Agile teams, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

You will bring 5+ years of data engineering experience, strong SQL and Python skills, and familiarity with cloud platforms. Experience with dbt, Airflow, and Dagster is valued, along with Power BI or Tableau for analytics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience, including hands-on Snowflake development.
• Strong SQL and data modeling experience.
• Experience developing batch and/or streaming data pipelines.
• Experience with Python or another object‑oriented language.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or Dagster.
• Experience supporting analytics and reporting with Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and related cloud technologies.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and scalable data models.
• Work within Agile delivery teams to implement client data platform solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and teammates to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop solutions using SQL, Python, and modern data engineering tools.
• Support data quality, performance tuning, and platform optimization initiatives.
