Job summary

Slalom’s Snowflake Center of Excellence seeks a data-driven Consultant to design, develop, and optimize Snowflake-based data solutions. You will build scalable data models, pipelines, and transformations within Agile teams, translating business needs into robust technical outcomes.

Required 5+ years in data engineering with Snowflake, SQL and Python expertise, and experience with dbt, Airflow, or Dagster. Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with hands-on Snowflake development.
• Strong SQL and data modeling experience.
• Experience developing batch and/or streaming data pipelines.
• Experience with Python or another object-oriented language.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or Dagster.
• Experience supporting analytics and reporting with Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills.
• SnowPro Core Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and related cloud technologies.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and scalable data models.
• Work within Agile delivery teams to implement client data platform solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and teammates to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop solutions using SQL, Python, and modern data engineering tools.
• Support data quality, performance tuning, and platform optimization initiatives.
• Contribute to the Snowflake CoE through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
