Job summary

NEOTech in Longmont, Colorado, is seeking a supervisor to coordinate assembly operations on the production line, primarily for SMT devices, under a microscope and with small tools and soldering. The role involves guiding cell operators, ensuring quality per IPC standards, and maintaining process documentation in OCuity.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of contract electronics manufacturing experience, strong math, and excellent communication to meet tight deadlines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must pass IPC-A-610 Modules 1 & 2 workmanship standards.
• Must pass IPC-DVD-64C Component Identification.
• Ability to utilize electronic manufacturing system (OCuity).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years experience in a contract electronics manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign the work within the department or cell according to backlog and supervisor direction.
• Maintain and update required task documentation with support groups.
• Adhere to ESD requirements and Board Handling; communicate discrepancies.
• Perform assembly operations on SMT devices under a microscope using hand tools and soldering.
• Oversee cell operators for first piece and assembly processes; ensure adherence to instructions.
