Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Subject Matter Expert Systems Engineer for aircraft sub-system integration, airworthiness, and electronic warfare.

The role supports the Special Programs Division (AFLCMC/WAG) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH, requiring an active Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP access. The successful candidate will translate requirements to system documents, lead engineering analyses, and collaborate with contractors and government representatives across all program phases.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET security clearance with SCI and SAP access, current within 5 years or under Continuous Vetting.
• Masters degree in engineering with 20 years of DoD/government experience.
• At least 3 years of SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in electronic warfare and systems engineering for classified programs.
• Translate user requirements into contract system requirements documents.
• Apply systems engineering for hardware/software development, CM, data rights, and QA.
• Develop engineering strategies, analyses, and technical program documents.
• Interface with contractors, vendors, and government reps on engineering activities.
• Develop system-of-systems architectures and digital transformation strategies.
• Implement airworthiness, risk management, and obsolescence tracking processes.
• Review contractor designs, perform trade-off studies, and oversee deficiencies closure.
• Support subsystem/component and system-level integration and testing, including test plans and results.
