Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Senior Small Business Sales - Middle Market to join its Merchant Services team in the United States. The role drives growth and profitability in existing accounts by identifying high-impact opportunities and presenting value-driven solutions.

You will build a strong referral network with Commercial Bank partners, manage a robust sales pipeline, and travel within the territory to prospect and sign new local businesses, working with owners and C-suite executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of Merchant Sales Experience.
• Deep knowledge of the payments industry, Interchange, and gateway connectivity.
• Background in SAAS, Banking, Payables and Receivables a plus.
• Proficient in Salesforce as a CRM is a bonus.
• 10 years of sales experience, with an emphasis on solution selling into Commercial, Mid-Market and/or Enterprise space.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth and profitability in existing accounts by spotting high-impact opportunities.
• Build and energize a strong referral network with Commercial Bank partners and execute proactive outreach to generate sales momentum.
• Build and manage pipeline through Commercial Bank referrals and self-generated COI leads.
• Deliver persuasive, value-driven presentations showing how our solutions meet client needs.
• Travel within a designated territory to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new local businesses.
