Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Sleep Technologist for night shifts across our South Region Sleep Centers in Illinois. The role involves preparing equipment, educating patients and physicians, and ensuring high-quality sleep study data.

Primary locations include Chicago and suburbs with a 40-hour work week on a night shift. Applicants should have 2 years of polysomnographic experience, BLS certification, and a sleep tech credential (RPSGT/RST/RRT-SDS preferred).

Qualifications

• 2 years of polysomnographic technician experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• RPSGT, RST, or RRT-SDS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Selects and applies monitoring equipment and prepares PAP masks for sleep studies.
• Scores sleep/wake stages and generates reports.
• Implements interventions including CPAP and BIPAP therapy.
• Performs auto servo ventilation titrations and MS testing.
• Sets up home sleep tests and ensures data quality.
