Job summary

Pivotal Health seeks a Sleep Technologist to conduct overnight and daytime sleep studies at DeKalb, IL. You will operate polysomnographic equipment, monitor patients, and collect physiological data to support accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• RPSGT or equivalent certification required.
• Prior experience in sleep studies or a sleep laboratory setting.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sleep disorders.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate polysomnographic equipment before testing.
• Monitor patients during studies to ensure data quality and safety.
• Collect and analyze EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG, respiratory effort and oxygen data.
• Prepare detailed reports for review by physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure privacy compliance.
• Educate patients about sleep studies and address concerns.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care.
