Qualifications

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or Registered Respiratory Care Technologist required.
• Certified in BCLS.
• Knowledge of sleep disorders and equipment for monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic polysomnograms and CPAP/Bi‑PAP titrations.
• Record studies and document clinical observations.
• Provide training to new Sleep Technicians.

Skills

Knowledge of the International 10‑20 system of electrode placement

Basic cardiac life support certification

Ability to prepare patients for polysomnograms

CPAP and Bi‑PAP training

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Bachelor's Degree in related field
