Job summary

IU Health Riley Hospital is seeking a Night Shift Polysomnographic Technician to perform sleep studies under supervision of a Polysomnographic Technologist. You will prepare equipment, interview patients, monitor testing, score studies, and generate reports.

The role requires a high school diploma (associates preferred) and completion of a polysomnography program, with potential to become credentialed (RPSGT) within 2 years. Night shift differential applies.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; associate degree preferred.
• Completion of an accredited polysomnography program or related medical program.
• Goal to become credentialed (RPSGT) within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and advanced sleep studies under supervision.
• Prepare patient equipment for testing and interview patients.
• Monitor patients during testing and intervene as necessary.
• Score sleep studies and generate reports.
• Prepare, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment.
• Identify repairs/replacements and report needs.
