Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Customer Engineer SLED in Texas. You will own the technical relationship from discovery through adoption, focusing on State, Local, Education, and Local Government sectors.

You’ll operate as a quota-carrying technologist, using AI-augmented workflows to reduce admin toil and drive measurable outcomes. You’ll partner with Account Executives to enable deep platform adoption, on-boarding, and technical success, with a strong emphasis on customer outcomes and ROI

Qualifications

• Public sector expertise across SLED, Local Government, State or Municipal agencies.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions/Customer/Sales Engineering).
• Broad technical knowledge across web security, networking, cloud infra, enterprise architecture.
• Proven track record in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environments.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical discovery and build bespoke architectures for public sector procurement.
• Own onboarding, technical health, risk, and expansion strategy with AE collaboration.
• Drive QBRs translating platform capabilities into ROI for executives.
• Act as trusted technical advisor throughout onboarding to renewal and expansion.
• Leverage AI-augmented workflows to automate routine tasks and accelerate value.
