Job summary

Cloudflare seeks a Senior Customer Engineer SLED in Texas (Austin, Dallas, or Houston). This role blends high-impact technical design with public sector agility, focusing on State, Local, Education, and Local Government accounts.

You will be the primary technical advisor and quota-bearing engineer guiding customers from discovery through adoption and expansion. Responsibilities include tailoring security, networking, and developer platform solutions, leading PoCs, and driving value realization

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as solutions engineering or similar.
• Familiarity with public sector procurement and compliance standards.
• Ability to work as a quota-carrying technologist and drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, design bespoke architectures, and demo PoCs for public sector customers.
• Onboard, implement, monitor health, and plan expansion with Account Executives.
• Conduct QBRs translating platform capabilities into business value for executives.
• Act as a trusted advisor with AI-augmented workflows to automate routine tasks.
