Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Site Support Engineer to be onsite in Anchorage, AK. You will lead IT support at the site level, manage escalated tickets, and mentor junior engineers while implementing IT best practices.

You will ensure operational uptime and deliver reliable IT services, providing expert desktop, network, and OS administration across multiple environments to support TSA staff and regional management.

Qualifications

• 6 years experience in IT support.
• Expert-level IT field support and leadership skills enabling management and direction of complex service request fulfillment and network/computer systems administration across multiple operating systems.
• Advanced proficiency in mobile device support, intricate desk-side tasks, and deployment strategies.
• Ability to provide comprehensive IT support for TSA airport staff, regional management staff, TSA executives.
• Leadership in evaluating service performance, actively managing and documenting tickets, ensuring high-quality resolution, system optimization, and recommending significant changes for overall service delivery.
• Applying lessons learned for the refinement of Knowledge Base (KB) articles in support of continuous process improvement.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strategic thinking for technology assignments, applies advanced troubleshooting expertise, and demonstrates strong leadership to ensure high-quality resolution and system optimization across multiple tasks.
