Smart Tech Contracting, LLC is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead on-site field operations for hyperscale data center projects in Texas, including Dallas. You will oversee all labor, subcontractors, and partner firms, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality across installation, startup, and commissioning.

The role requires 8–10 years in field leadership within mission-critical environments, with strong communication to GC, owner reps, and commissioning authorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of field supervision or superintendent roles in mission-critical or hyperscale environments.
• Proven experience supervising multi-trade sites and managing subcontractors/partners.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, safety, quality, and commissioning workflows.
• Ability to be primary site authority and client-facing.
• Experience coordinating with GC superintendents, owner reps, and commissioning authorities.
• Knowledge of OSHA/NFPA 70E and high-risk construction activities.
• Leadership presence, decisiveness, and ability to work under schedule pressure.
• Proficiency with construction docs, drawings, schedules, and digital tools like Procore/BIM 360.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site operations and supervise labor, subcontractors, and partner firms.
• Coordinate daily activities across trades: electrical, mechanical, automation, controls, networking, commissioning, vendors.
• Serve as STC’s on-site representative to GC superintendents, owner reps, and commissioning authorities.
• Lead daily coordination meetings, site walks, and trade alignment sessions.
• Resolve field conflicts to protect schedule and quality.
• Develop 3-week look-ahead schedules and direct installation, startup, testing, and commissioning.
• Enforce QA/QC standards per contract documents and drawings.
• Track field progress, manpower, and productivity for reporting.
• Identify scope gaps and risks; elevate with recommendations.
• Maintain safety and site protocols in coordination with safety leadership.
