Job summary

PNC is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen infrastructure reliability across Windows Server environments and VMware-based virtual platforms. Based in multiple U.S.

locations, you will respond to patching, incident response, and capacity planning while developing automation with PowerShell. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, and are comfortable with change management, disaster recovery testing, and monitoring dashboards to ensure service

Qualifications

• University degree required with 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Certifications are often desired.

Responsibilities

• Respond to server patching, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance activities.
• Administer and support Microsoft Windows Server environments across enterprise production and non-production platforms.
• Troubleshoot operating system, performance, configuration, and service-related issues to maintain platform stability.
• Provide incident response support, perform root cause analysis, and restore services during production outages.
• Monitor infrastructure health, respond to alerts, and proactively identify operational risks.
• Support VMware-hosted Windows servers and related virtual infrastructure technologies.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency; PowerShell scripting experience is a plus.
• Participate in change management, disaster recovery testing, and resiliency initiatives to ensure service continuity.
