ShiftKey seeks a Senior Reliability professional to own the SaaS platform's reliability and incident response. You will steward cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure, ensure availability, and build guardrails for safe deployments. You’ll work on a small, autonomous team and shape how reliability evolves on a regulated platform.

You will mentor teammates, drive automation, and collaborate with engineering across time zones in a fully remote US role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years running production infra on AWS/Azure at real scale.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Terraform with incidents, not only deployments.
• Incident ownership from detection through postmortem.
• Strong automation in Python and Bash; observability tooling.
• Ability to defend judgment calls without a manager present.
• Experience mentoring other engineers; comfortable with AI tools.

Responsabilités

• Own reliability, availability and incident response for our SaaS platform.
• Maintain and extend cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, as code.
• Run and improve the Kubernetes-based production environment.
• Write production automation; scripting is a daily activity.
• Collaborate with software teams to enable safe deployments.
• Mentor teammates and shape the growth of the reliability function.
