Job summary

Prove seeks a Site Reliability Engineer, Senior to join our Platform Engineering team and drive uptime for critical services. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable systems with automation, IaC, and robust monitoring.

Work closely with application teams to meet reliability, performance, and security standards. The role requires 5+ years in SRE/Platform Engineering, strong Kubernetes and cloud experience, and proficiency in Go or Python.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or equivalent with production systems.
• Expert knowledge of observability platforms and practices (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, ELK/Splunk).
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, Spacelift, Pulumi).
• Programming in Go or Python; AWS cloud experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and deploy highly available systems with automation and IaC.
• Lead observability initiatives including metrics, logs, tracing, and alerting.
• Design resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS and container deployments.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with application teams to meet reliability, performance, and security standards.
