Job summary

OnePay is seeking a hands-on Site Reliability Engineering Manager to lead a small, senior SRE team and drive reliability across our consumer fintech platform. You will write production code, build automation, and set the engineering bar while remaining deeply involved in incident response.

You will report to the Head of Platform and Data Engineering and are measured by what you ship and the reliability of the services you own. This is a fully remote role across the US.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering foundation and production-quality code in Python or Go.
• Reliability depth for high-availability consumer fintech environments.
• Experience leading a small engineering team within the last few years.

Responsibilities

• Lead a senior SRE team with planning, clarity, and career growth.
• Stay hands-on: write production code and build automation, tooling, and golden paths.
• Define service ownership, alerting, dashboards, runbooks, and deploy/rollback safety; run health reviews.
• Stay in the incident loop: run incident command, drive remediation, prevent recurrence.
• Build durable on-call coverage through staffing, handoffs, and automation.
• Partner with engineering leaders to raise reliability standards and maintain boundaries between SRE enablement and service ownership.
