Job summary

Prove is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team. You will design, implement, and operate highly available systems on AWS, leveraging IaC, observability, and automation to maximize uptime and security.

As a remote US-based team member, you’ll partner with application engineers to drive reliability, performance, and incident response. The role requires 5+ years in SRE/Platform Engineering and hands-on cloud, Kubernetes, and programming experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SRE/Platform Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of observability and monitoring systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Spacelift, Pulumi).
• Go and/or Python programming experience.
• Deep AWS cloud platform knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead observability design across infra and apps.
• Define metrics, logging, tracing, alerting for SLOs.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS with IaC.
• Automate operational tasks to reduce toil.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations for high availability.
• Drive post-incident reviews and preventative actions.
• Scale containers with metrics and apply best practices.
