KnowBe4’s Site Reliability Engineers help ensure that our platforms are reliable, secure, scalable, and efficient in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will collaborate with engineers to improve security, reliability, and performance across distributed services.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/Ph.D. or equivalent plus 5 years experience.
• Training in secure coding practices (preferred)
• Experience designing and operating high-scale patterns in AWS.
• Experience building and designing repeatable CI/CD workflows (GitLab preferred)
• Ability to self-manage time across competing projects.
• Ability to debug complex distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build highly scalable, cloud-native applications and infrastructure in AWS.
• Maintain and improve infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
• Learn and improve deployment strategies.
• Deliver observability, monitoring, and alerting for KnowBe4’s apps and infra.
• Act as escalation point for production incidents root cause analysis.
• Design globally distributed systems and processes for the org.
• Identify deficiencies and implement fixes.
• Lead projects with other SREs and communicate progress to stakeholders.
