Job summary

JPMorgan Chase seeks a Site Reliability Engineer III to strengthen the availability and scalability of its critical payments platforms. You will configure, maintain, monitor, and optimize applications and infrastructure, solving complex problems through code and cloud automation.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on site reliability engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
Exposure to data management/migration platforms and cloud infrastructure components (Compute, Storage, Networks, DB).
Understanding of monitoring, incident response, capacity planning, and SLO/SLI definitions.

Responsibilities

Guides and assists in designing reliable architectures and promotes SRE best practices.
Collaborates to design, test, and implement CI/CD pipelines for deployment and reliability.
Uses AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage and post-incident analysis while ensuring security.
Implements infrastructure as code for applications and platforms within remit.
Collaborates with stakeholders to resolve complex issues using SLOs/SLIs and proactive improvements.
Applies AI to identify reliability risks and prioritize reuse-first improvements linked to SLO outcomes.
Maintains familiarity with availability, reliability, and scalability and iterates with partners.
