Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer III to help manage and modernize mission‑critical systems.

You will configure, monitor, and optimize applications and infrastructure, decomposing problems and improving solutions with code and cloud infrastructure. You will own production support, drive automated CI/CD, and collaborate across teams to ensure reliability, observability, and scalable operations.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering concepts.
3+ years of applied SRE experience.
Proficient in Python/Java/.NET and AWS cloud.

Responsibilities

Guide and implement SRE best practices within the team.
Collaborate to design, test, and implement deployment and reliability approaches.
Utilize AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage and analysis with proper data handling.
Monitor operational signals and drive rapid engagement during issues.
Improve instrumentation, dashboards, and alert quality to reduce MTTR.
Maintain runbooks, handoffs, escalation paths, and post-incident follow-through.
Coordinate with engineers to drive root-cause fixes and safe change management.
Lead L1/L2 production support using SRE practices and provide stakeholder updates.
