Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join CLS and help ensure reliable, scalable software across a mix of modern and legacy systems. You will own reliability outcomes, drive observability, and contribute to automation and operations.

The role is hybrid with preferred Columbus, OH or other U.S. locations; includes 24x7 on-call rotation, collaboration with engineering and vendor teams, and a focus on security, performance, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of technology experience with system management and distributed systems.
• Proven experience with CI/CD, IaC and modern IT practices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead production stability with 24x7 on-call support and P0 incidents.
• Define and improve SLOs and monitor service health.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed reliability in design.
