Job summary

Early Warning seeks a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to apply software and systems engineering to improve reliability, observability, and operational health of production services. You will partner with software teams to ensure resilience, performance, and recoverability across the lifecycle.

This role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience, strong cloud and Linux skills, and a data-driven, collaborative approach. Hybrid work options are available in multiple US cities including Phoenix area.

Qualifications

• Typically 5–8 years of relevant professional experience in SRE/DevOps fields.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and modern distributed architectures.

Responsibilities

• Use software engineering and DevOps practices to improve reliability, testing, deployment, observation, and recovery.
• Define SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and health metrics for services.
• Improve observability with metrics, logs, tracing, monitoring, and dashboards.
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and post-incident learning.
• Drive CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and capacity planning.
