Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer III within Corporate Technology, Consumer & Community Banking Risk to design and optimize critical systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of site reliability engineering experience.
• Formal training or certification in SRE concepts.
• Proficient in Python, Java/Spring Boot, and .NET.
• Working knowledge of enterprise AI capabilities for SRE with data sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to validate AI-assisted operational recommendations before applying changes.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, SLOs, and telemetry collection.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Guides and assists others in building appropriate level designs and gaining consensus on SRE best practices.
• Collaborates to design, develop, test, and implement deployment and reliability approaches via CI/CD pipelines.
• Uses enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage, troubleshooting and post-incident analysis.
• Implements infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for applications and platforms in remit.
• Resolves complex problems with stakeholders using service level indicators and objectives.
• Applies AI capabilities to identify patterns indicating reliability risk and toil, prioritizing SLO outcomes.
• Familiar with availability, reliability, scalability, and improving outcomes iteratively.
• Identifies improvements and explores new technologies where appropriate.
