Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer III to join the Healthcare Payments team within Commercial and Investment Bank. You will solve complex problems by wiring code and cloud infrastructure to improve availability, reliability, and scalability of mission-critical systems.

You will contribute to end-to-end operations, mentor peers, and drive improvements in incident response, monitoring, and automation.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on site reliability engineering concepts.
• 3+ years of applied SRE experience in enterprise environments.
• Proficient in Python, Java/Spring Boot, and .Net.
• Experience with AI-assisted operations and incident response.
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and telemetry frameworks.
• Ability to validate AI-assisted recommendations before applying changes.

Responsibilities

• Guide design and consensus for SRE best practices within the team.
• Collaborate across teams to implement deployment and reliability approaches with CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage and post-incident analysis.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and network-as-code for relevant applications.
• Work with stakeholders to resolve issues using SLOs and proactive reliability improvements.
• Identify patterns in operational signals to prevent toil and incidents.
• Support on-call rotations and production incident response.
