Job summary

Kroger is seeking a senior operations leader to drive site productivity, safety and associate engagement at a mid-level complexity facility. You will develop leaders, manage transportation including Final Mile costs, and collaborate with Kroger Technology to enhance customer experience.

You will lead cross-functional teams, prepare annual budgets, and ensure compliance with policies while traveling to other site locations as needed. Strong communication and analytics are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree business related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years senior operational leadership in logistics or manufacturing with P&L experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead, train and motivate a team and ability to develop others.
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and peers.
• Strong follow-up and accountability skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail and ability to draw conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Lead site of mid-level complexity strategically to align the business, people and safety practices to achieve key metrics.
• Develop, manage, and coordinate all facets of transportation including cost of Final Mile.
• Utilize measurement tools and data analytics to deliver overall business plan.
• Collaborate with Kroger Technology to deliver superior customer experience.
• Prepare annual operating budgets.
• Travel independently to other site locations.
• Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe, quality foods and other merchandise.
