Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager (Site Leader) in Pittsburgh, PA to lead daily warehouse operations with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

The role reports to the Regional Director and requires guiding an operations management team across shifts to execute plans and initiatives effectively. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of management experience (2 in a similar industry), strong negotiation skills, and a background in last-mile or small parcel delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have GED or Diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years management experience, 2 in a similar industry; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Last-mile delivery or Small Parcel experience highly desired.
• Experience with an independent contractor model; strong negotiation skills
• Ability to inspire a shared vision, empower and engage a team
• Strong organization and time-management skills using MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct facility management in development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services.
• Direct, plan and budget preparation based on corporate goals and objectives.
• Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and report to Regional Operations and General Managers.
• Coach, develop skills, manage rewards and recognition, and drive staff productivity for hourly and salaried positions.
• Ensure adherence to the contract and coordinate with Vendors and Independent Contractors for accountability to the operating agreement.
