Job summary
SPX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Site Leader for the Olathe, Kansas manufacturing facility.
You will lead a large, complex operation delivering safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while developing the site's operating strategy. You will oversee manufacturing operations, safety, quality, procurement, planning, materials control, warehousing, shipping and continuous improvement, partnering with Engineering, Supply Chain, HR, Finance and EHS to drive growth and capability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Management, Business or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience delivering improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost and employee engagement.
- Experience building and leading high performance teams in large, complex manufacturing using Lean.
- Strong financial and business acumen, including operating budgets, labor, capital investments, productivity and manufacturing costs.
- Experience leading through significant growth, organizational transformation or change.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for the Olathe manufacturing facility with accountability for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Growth.
- Communicate performance, risks, opportunities and recovery plans to business leadership clearly and transparently.
- Oversee plant efficiency including production scheduling, capacity planning, labor planning, materials flow, inventory control, warehousing and shipping.
- Ensure staffing and capability levels across shifts, departments and critical operations.
- Build a strong, accountable leadership team and foster a culture of trust, engagement and belonging.
- Attract, onboard, retain and develop talent with robust succession planning.
- Monitor workforce measures and address employee relations issues with consistency and respect.
