Job summary

SPX Technologies, a leader in HVAC and industrial cooling solutions, is seeking a Senior Site Leader for our Olathe, Kansas manufacturing facility. This role leads safety, quality, delivery, cost and people, and partners with Engineering, Supply Chain and Finance to drive operating performance.

The successful candidate will develop the site operating strategy, build a high-performing organization, and ensure safe, reliable production of cooling towers and related equipment for our customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Management, Business or related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience delivering measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost and employee engagement.
• Demonstrated experience building and leading high performance teams in a large, complex manufacturing operation utilizing Lean methodologies.
• Strong financial and business acumen, including experience managing operating budgets, labor, capital investments, productivity and manufacturing costs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through significant growth, operational change or organizational transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Olathe manufacturing facility with accountability for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Growth.
• Communicate performance, risks, opportunities and recovery plans to leadership with transparency.
• Oversee scheduling, capacity planning, labor planning, materials flow, inventory control, warehousing and shipping to meet commitments.
• Develop leadership teams and drive succession planning, engagement, and accountability.
• Drive quality ownership and resolve significant customer issues with cross-functional collaboration.
• Implement Lean, standard work, visual management, daily tiered meetings, and structured problem solving across the site.
