Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies, a part of SPX Technologies, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor in Olathe, KS to lead a manufacturing team through daily operations, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role focuses on on-time delivery, quality, and efficient inventory management while upholding SPX core values and manufacturing excellence.

The successful candidate will oversee scheduling, training, and performance management of hourly staff, driving lean practices, and collaborating

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience attracting, retaining, motivating, and developing high performing, diverse teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly, welding/machining, quality control.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and lean manufacturing principles.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate, supervise, and train hourly workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to manufacturing team, ensuring productivity and a positive environment.
• Promote safety guidelines and maintain a safe work area.
• Coordinate with production planning to prioritize schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
• Implement quality control procedures and address issues with the quality team.
• Drive inventory management improvements and accurate records.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles and lead continuous improvement projects.
