Job summary

Woolpert, an award‑winning global leader in architecture, engineering, and geospatial services, seeks a Site Civil Engineer (PE) in Columbus, OH. You’ll join our Land Development Engineering team to design site layouts, manage design calculations, mentor staff, and support projects from concept through final plans.

The role requires a PE license, a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and at least 7 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, and Storm/Sanitary Analysis software.
• Hydraulics and Hydrology knowledge preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver client service.

Responsibilities

• Design and create site layout plans per client needs and Woolpert standards.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept and grading plans.
• Lead site/civil design, hydrology, erosion control, and stormwater.
• Coordinate permitting with counties and municipalities.
• Multi-task and prioritize workflow with project teams.
• Assist with field work and travel as needed.
• Perform pavement assessments and compile data/reports.
