Job summary

Woolpert is actively seeking a Site Civil Engineer (PE) to join our Land Development Engineering team in the United States. You will design site layouts, lead civil design efforts, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with Woolpert standards.

This role emphasizes collaboration, multi-tasking, and continuous professional development. Applicants must have a PE license, a civil engineering degree, and at least 7 years of experience in site/civil land development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D, Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, Storm and Sanitary Analysis, PondPack, and MS Office.
• Hydraulics and Hydrology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and create site layout plans per client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Develop concept and grading plans using Civil 3D.
• Lead site/civil design, hydrology/hydraulics, erosion control, and stormwater management activities.
• Coordinate permitting with counties and municipalities.
• Multi-task and prioritize workflow across projects.
• Collaborate with project management to identify obstacles and implement solutions.
• Perform pavement assessments and compile data/reports.
• Occasional field work and local/overnight travel as needed.
