Job summary

Woolpert is seeking a Site Civil Engineer (PE) to join our Land Development Engineering team in Cincinnati, OH. You will lead site/civil design, perform calculations, mentor junior staff, and support project teams on site layouts, utilities, stormwater, and earthwork.

Expect collaboration with engineering teams, frequent travel, and opportunities for professional development. A PE license and strong Civil 3D skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of hydraulics/hydrology is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and provide strong client service.

Responsibilities

• Design and create site layout plans per client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
• Provide technical leadership in site/civil design, hydrology, erosion control, and stormwater management.
• Coordinate permitting with counties and local municipalities.
• Multi-task, prioritize workflow, and meet project deadlines.
• Collaborate with project management to identify impediments and implement solutions.
• Perform pavement assessments and compile data/reports.
• Occasional field work with local and overnight travel.
• Other duties as assigned.
