Job summary

Woolpert is seeking a Site Civil Engineer (PE) to join our Land Development Engineering team in the United States. You will lead site/civil design efforts, mentor junior staff, and support multi-disciplinary project teams delivering site layouts, utilities, grading, erosion control, and stormwater solutions.

Qualified candidates hold a PE, a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 7+ years of related experience, and proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of related experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Autodesk Vehicle Tracking and Storm & Sanitary Analysis software (PondPack, MS Office)
• Hydraulics and Hydrology experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities

Responsibilities

• Design and create site layout plans per client requirements and Woolpert standards
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept and grading plans
• Lead site/civil design, hydrology/hydraulics, erosion control, and stormwater management
• Coordinate permitting with county and local municipalities
• Multitask and prioritize workflow to meet project timelines
• Collaborate with project management to identify impediments and implement solutions
• Perform pavement assessments and compile data/reports
• Occasional fieldwork and local/overnight travel as needed
• Other duties as assigned
