Job summary

Woolpert, Inc. seeks a Site Civil Engineer (PE) to join our Land Development Engineering team in the United States. You will lead design efforts, develop site layouts, and mentor junior staff, delivering site/civil projects with a focus on grading, utilities, stormwater, and erosion control.

This role requires a PE license, 4+ years of related experience, and proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related tools. Occasional field work and local travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Minimum of 4 years related experience in site/civil work.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD and related software.
• Ability to coordinate permitting with local jurisdictions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and create site layouts in alignment with client needs and Woolpert standards.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept and grading plans.
• Provide technical leadership in site/civil design, hydrology, and stormwater management.
• Coordinate with counties and municipalities on permits.
• Multi-task and prioritize workflow; support project teams and management.
• Perform pavement assessments and compile data/reports.
• Occasional field work and local/overnight travel.
