Job summary

Woolpert is hiring a Site Civil Engineer (PE) to join our Land Development Engineering team in the United States. You will design site layouts, prepare grading plans, and support hydrology/hydraulic analyses using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

The role includes permitting coordination, mentoring, and collaboration with project teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, at least 7 years of experience, and a PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required, PE license preferred or required.
• Minimum 7 years related experience in site civil/land development.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD and related software is required.
• Familiarity with Vehicle Tracking, PondPack and stormwater analysis tools is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and create site layout plans per client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Use Civil 3D to develop concept and grading plans, site designs, and layouts.
• Provide technical support in hydrology, hydraulics, erosion control, and stormwater.
• Coordinate permitting with counties and municipalities; manage multiple tasks.
• Assist project teams, mentor junior staff, and support project management.
• Perform pavement assessments; collect data; generate reports; travel as needed.
• Contribute to fieldwork and site investigations; adapt to changing priorities.
