Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Site Civil Engineer in Minnesota to lead project teams and provide technical oversight across site development projects. The role requires a PE license, 10+ years of design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 10 years design experience managing civil/site design projects.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Project Engineering and Project Management experience.

Responsibilities

Lead project teams of 2-3 engineers and provide technical oversight.
Design and plan site development, including grading, drainage, paving and utilities.
Prepare stormwater management designs, calculations, and reports.
Coordinate design with other disciplines and architectural leads.
Prepare specifications and contract documents.
Assist in procurement of site development approvals and permits.
Prepare quantity take-off calculations and cost estimates as needed.
Perform complex assignments with engineering judgment and apply standard techniques.
Plan and develop projects with potential impact on major programs; serve as Project Manager on larger projects.
Perform other duties as needed.
