Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 10 years of design experience on civil/site projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience in project engineering and project management.
• Commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and plan production for general site civil on a wide variety of projects (site layouts, grading, drainage, paving, utilities).
• Conduct quantity calculations and prepare specifications and contract documents.
• Coordinate permitting activities and ensure compliance with codes.
• Apply advanced engineering techniques to resolve complex problems.
• Act as a technical expert in an area of specialization as needed.
• Engage in early project development activities including site selection and due diligence.
• Plan and develop projects with significant impact on company programs.
• Mentor and supervise staff of professionals and designers.
