Job summary

HDR in the United States is seeking a Senior Site Civil Engineer to lead civil/site design across a wide range of projects, including site layouts, drainage, paving and utilities. You will perform quantity calculations, prepare specifications and contract documents, and handle permitting.

You will supervise professionals and technicians, apply engineering judgment to complex problems, and contribute to major company programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• A minimum of 10 years design experience managing civil/site projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience in project engineering and project management.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan production for civil/site projects across a broad range of site layouts and utilities.
• Perform quantity calculations.
• Prepare specifications and contract documents.
• Conduct permitting.
• Serve as technical expert for complex issues.
• Plan and develop projects with significant impact on company programs.
• Supervise a medium to large staff of professionals and technicians.
• Perform other duties as needed.
