Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead site civil design and production for a wide range of projects, including site layouts, drainage, utilities, and related civil activities. You will ensure accuracy, coordination, and sustainable design outcomes, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include preparing specifications and contract documents, permitting, and early development activities such as site due diligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years design experience in civil/site projects.
• PE license (PE or P.Eng).
• Project engineering and project management experience.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and plan production for general site civil on diverse projects.
• Prepare specifications and contract documents.
• Conduct permitting and early project development activities including site due diligence.
• Plan, organize, mentor and supervise work of professionals and designers.
• Prepare/review civil engineering scope of work and budgets/estimates for proposals.
• Perform other duties as needed.
