HDR is seeking a Senior Substation Structural Project Engineer in Minnesota to design and manage civil/site projects, including planning, specifications, and permitting. You will lead a medium to large staff and serve as a technical expert on complex assignments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 10 years of design experience, and a PE license; you will contribute to HDR's employee-owned culture and pursue safe, sustainable power solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 10 years of design experience managing civil/site design projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required by licensing board.
• Project engineering and project management experience.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture required.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan production for civil on a wide variety of projects.
• Conduct quantity calculations.
• Prepare specifications and contract documents.
• Conduct permitting.
• Perform complex assignments with advanced engineering techniques.
• Serve as a technical expert on specialized area.
• Plan and develop projects with significant impact on programs.
• Supervise a medium to large staff of professionals and technicians.
• Serve as a Project Manager on larger projects when needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.
