BD is seeking a Sr. Single Cell Multiomics Sales Specialist to drive BD Rhapsody sales across the US South Central territory. The role requires self-motivation, ability to work independently, and strong collaboration with Field Applications, Distributors, and Service teams. Travel is up to 40% as needed.

Ideal candidates have a life sciences background with genomic sales experience, proficiency in MS Office, and comfort engaging key accounts to expand BD’s instrument and reagents portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences; MS/ PhD advantage.
• 5+ years selling genomic applications and related technologies.
• Experience with single-cell sequencing, transcriptomics, or proteogenomics.
• Proficient in MS Office; Salesforce experience.
• Willingness to travel 40% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Position BD Rhapsody instrument and consumables in territory.
• Meet growth targets through sales activities, negotiations, bids, exhibitions, on-site meetings and demos.
• Maintain a robust sales process and forecast.
• Develop and maintain a short/long term sales pipeline.
• Provide market feedback and territory performance insights.
• Build relationships with distributor sales reps in assigned areas.
