Job summary

BD is seeking a Sr. Single Cell Multiomics Sales Specialist to drive BD Rhapsody solutions within the US South Central territory, with preference for Texas or St. Louis residents.

You will align customers with BD’s complete single-cell multiomics portfolio to accelerate adoption and revenue. The role requires 5+ years selling genomic solutions, strong relationships with life-science customers, and ability to travel ~40% domestically. A life science degree is required and MS/PhD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life science; MS/PhD advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years selling or supporting genomic solutions.
• Experience with single cell sequencing, transcriptomics, or proteogenomics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Willingness to travel minimum 40% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to position BD Rhapsody instrument and consumables within the territory.
• Drive revenue by meeting/exceeding growth targets and managing pipelines.
• Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships and provide market feedback.
• Maintain CRM records and provide regular territory performance reports.
• Collaborate across BD teams and coordinate distributors.
• Build relationships with distributor sales reps in assigned areas.
