Job summary

Waters is seeking a Sr. Single Cell Multiomics Sales Specialist to drive the Rhapsody portfolio in the US South Central. The role focuses on positioning BD Rhapsody solutions and BD team collaboration to meet revenue targets in a regulated, high-volume testing environment.

You will develop sales pipeline, engage in on-site demonstrations, and coordinate with distributors to expand adoption across the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences; MS/PhD advantageous.
• 5+ years selling genomic solutions including single cell sequencing.
• Experience with NGS, library prep, PCR/qPCR/dPCR.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Willingness to travel 40% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Position the BD Rhapsody instrument and consumables within the territory.
• Meet growth targets through sales activities, bids, exhibitions, and on-site demonstrations.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and revenue forecasts.
• Provide market feedback and intel to business teams.
• Maintain CRM data and accurate opportunity management.
• Collaborate with BD teams and distributor reps to drive solutions.
• Build relationships with key distributor sales reps in assigned areas.
