Job summary

SiTime Corp. is seeking a Principal Hardware Signal Integrity/Power Integrity Architect to lead system-level electrical design and establish SI/PI simulation methodologies for MEMS timing products.

You will collaborate across cross-functional teams to simulate and engineer complex platforms with robust electrical integrity and reliability. The role requires a Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering, 10+ years in hardware design, and strong expertise in SI/PI, PCB design, and high-speed

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in hardware system design with SI/PI
• Experience with PCB design tools (Altium/Allegro/APD) and PCB reviews
• Knowledge of high-speed interfaces (DDR, PCIe, USB)
• Ability to extract S-parameters or lumped models and convert to SPICE models
• Familiarity with MIPI, I2C, SPI, UART
• Impedance-controlled board design and manufacturing
• Laboratory measurement skills: oscilloscope, VNA, TDR

Responsibilities

• Lead SI design initiatives for system platforms
• Establish SI/PI methodologies across hardware platforms and environments
• Identify new technologies to improve SI/PI performance
• Perform detailed analysis, simulations, experiments, and verification
• Collaborate with circuit, packaging, and board design teams to define reliable components
• Ensure high-quality hardware through root-cause analysis and problem solving
