Job summary

Meta seeks a seasoned Signal Integrity and Power Integrity Engineer to architect and lead SIPI strategies across multiple hardware projects. You will influence system design, perform pre- and post-layout analyses, and guide vendors while collaborating with multiple engineering teams to deliver robust, high-performance hardware.

The role requires deep SIPI knowledge, leadership, and strong communication to drive guidelines, validation plans, and testing across high-speed interfaces and PDN.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SIPI simulation, measurement, or electrical design experience.
• Experience delivering electrical products from concept through validation to manufacturing or deployment.
• Advanced knowledge of SIPI fundamentals: impedance control, transmission line theory, PDN, EMI/EMC.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (e.g., DDR, PCIe, MIPI, USB, Ethernet).
• Experience with PCB/flex design and manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring and guiding engineers on complex hardware programs.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices and impact on hardware workflows (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead system-level SIPI design, simulation, and validation for high-speed interfaces and PDN.
• Develop and improve SIPI methodologies, standards, and guidelines.
• Drive SIPI strategy and influence system architecture and manufacturing processes.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across electrical, silicon, packaging, PCB, firmware, mechanical, software, and external partners.
• Guide vendors in developing high-speed signaling solutions and compliance testing.
• Own SIPI validation strategy, including test plans, lab measurements, and compliance.
• Troubleshoot SIPI issues using simulation and lab data; conduct root-cause analysis.
• Drive design of experiments and process improvements; mentor engineers and share knowledge.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Stay current with SIPI trends and AI integration to maintain leadership.
